Toowoomba Second Range Crossing – Viaduct

Smart Nine are proud to be working with Rocktown in launching the Toowoomba Second Range Crossing Viaduct Project for Nexus.

The Project is an 800m long and 60m high concrete girder bridge east of the New England Highway cutting that will negotiate the steep terrain of the Great Dividing Range. The terrain certainly makes for challenging access to Site but it’s nothing we can’t handle!

The Viaduct will be built using modern day construction technologies that consist of a jump form system for the individual bridge piers and a launching truss gantry for the installation of the Super T girder beams that will form part of the bridge deck.

We look forward to assisting Rocktown launch their Project and to being part of such a landmark Project.
